Well Chris Jericho is back baby. Although I and the gazillions of other Jericholics are thrilled about it, it doesn't seem like the live audience at recent RAWs seem to be reacting the way they should. Maybe it's because it wasn't that big of a suprise or maybe it's because he can't have a verbal battle with Orton due to the fact Orton isn't really the best person on the mic.
Personally I think Jericho's return should have been done at Cyber Sunday due to the fact of the whole code breaking and internet codes that were used during the various videos promoting the return. It probably would have gotten a better reaction and people wouldn't have been so over the whole promos like they were when he did return. Plus I thought instead of saying he was saving us from an individual, like he did with Randy Orton, I would have much rather he just basically outed everyone much like he did when he first debuted in the WWE where he said I'm going to save the WWE from these dull boring matches and promos. Because I think if he would have done that, yes it would have pissed people off but maybe it would have lit a fire under some people's asses.
Once Jericho's fued with Orton is over I'm hoping his next fued can be with Kennedy. Because that might friends would be AWESOME. Kennedy's a mic person and we all know what Jericho can do on the mic. They both are both great wrestlers who can be technical but also can do a lot of the fast pased high flying moves. This would be a great fued to build up to Wrestlemania. But if they put them both in the Money in the Bank Match at Wrestlemania I'd be happy, although I wish I could be there to see it live.
Carlito Staying or Going?
I think ECW should be the young guy show and should be where the young guys should get to shine. I think Carlito along with guys like Shelton Benjamin, Kenny Dykstra, Jimmy Wang Yang, and other numerous guys on the roster who've been placed at the bottom of the totum pole but have lots of potential that doesn't get shown because the focus is on the big names should all be moved over to the ECW Roster. ECW roster is very small and the show gets really repetitive week after week. But if they put all the guys that they have pushed almost so far down that their credibility might get tanked and they'd probably never get over again on ECW maybe the shows ratings would go up. Guys might start learning and showing more passion for their work because they will have something to prove and opportunity to be a top guy with the smaller roster of ECW.
I for one don't want to see Carlito go, but if he does I'd totally understand. He deserves to have an opportunity to go out there and not be mocked but to be taken seriously. I don't think RAW right now is the place for him to do that however. There is just too much talent on that show right now for him to have an opportunity. If they put him on Smackdown I'm afraid they'd just do him like they are doing Kenny Dykstra. So I say move him to ECW, to help fill up the roster and give CM Punk some real competition. Then if that doesn't work out wish him well in his future endeavors, but please don't keep hanging on to him just to keep him away from TNA. That just screws him over, and that's the last thing WWE needs is more bitter former employees.
